Join us for a 2.5 hour workshop on spoon carving.
Date/Time: Friday, June 10, 6-8:30 p.m.
Learn how to carve your very own cooking spoon out of bass wood. In this workshop, you will learn to use a spoon gauge to carve out the wood and a carving knife to shape the spoon handle. Each student will be provided with a bench hook, spoon blank, spoon gauge, and a carving knife.
By the end of the workshop, each student will be able to take home their own hand crafted cooking spoon.
Class registration is $100 per person. Purchase two registrations and receive $25 off at checkout.
Carving kits will be available for purchase at the end of the workshop at a discounted rate of $75 (retail rate: $95).
The kits include everything you need to carve your own spoon at home: a spoon blank, spoon gauge, carving knife, and a bench hook.
No experience is necessary. All tools will be provided during the workshop.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the class starts to check-in and get settled in.
**You may cancel your registration up to 2 days before the workshop for a full refund. You may receive store credit if cancelling within 24 hours of the workshop. No shows will forfeit their payment.**
